Define the intended range, target market, quantities per design and required customization. Design ownership, development scope, tooling and any exclusivity terms should be agreed in writing before an order.

Materials & Structure

Specify the Product Before Comparing Quotes

Discuss wood and finish preferences, wood–resin combinations, resin color and transparency, lid construction, closures, compartments and interior presentation. Confirm the feasibility of the selected combination during project review.

Supply internal and external dimensions separately. For frames, specify insert size, profile, backing and display orientation; for drawer organizers, include usable drawer space, clearance and hardware requirements.

Natural grain and decorative resin layouts vary. Agree sample references and an acceptable appearance range for bulk production.

Logo & Branding

Name, Logo & Artwork Customization

Provide vector artwork where available, the branding position, dimensions and finish reference. Include whether the same company logo repeats across the order or individual names change between units.

Discuss engraving and other decoration requirements for the selected material. Confirm legibility, placement, contrast and the approved artwork revision on a sample before proceeding.

For variable personalization, provide a structured name list and agree a proofing process, spelling responsibility and how personalized units should be identified in packaging.

Samples & Quality

Build a Written Sample Approval Checklist

Record the dimensions, fit, lid or drawer movement, hardware, surfaces, artwork and packaging that must be reviewed. Identify the person responsible for sample approval and retain the approved specification revision.

Include destination-market documentation and testing requirements in your brief. Available evidence, test scope and any buyer-appointed inspection must be confirmed for the actual project; concept imagery does not establish certification.

Packaging & Export

Plan Protection and Branded Presentation

Share individual protection, gift packaging, inserts, labels and master-carton requirements. Include the delivery country, distribution requirements and any requested carton markings.

Ask for proposed carton quantities, packed dimensions and weights once the design is defined. Freight scope, commercial terms, production timing and shipping arrangements remain subject to quotation and order confirmation.
